Email extractor

Paste any text, page source or CSV and get every email address in it: deduplicated, counted, and flagged as a named person, a role address or a personal mailbox. Copy the list or download it as a CSV you can import anywhere.

Free, no signup. Runs in your browser; nothing you paste is sent to us.

Options

Addresses are listed exactly as they appear in your text; none is checked, guessed or looked up. Nothing you paste or choose here is sent to ReachClaw, and there is no share link, so other people's addresses stay on your device.

What the extractor pulls out of your text

Four rules, all of them visible in the result. Nothing is guessed and nothing is dropped silently except file names.

Every address in the text

Plain addresses, addresses inside mailto: links, and addresses written with HTML entities (@ for @) in pasted page source. Trailing full stops, commas and brackets are left behind, and file names that look like addresses, such as logo@2x.png, are dropped.

Disguised addresses, if you ask

Tick the box and name [at] domain [dot] com, name(at)domain(dot)com and "name at domain dot com" are read as addresses too. It is off by default so that "meet me at noon" never turns into anything, and every address found this way is marked decoded.

One line per address, with a count

Duplicates are merged without regard to capitals: Avery.Chen@ and avery.chen@ are one address, shown as first seen with the domain in lower case, and the count says how many times it appeared. A By domain list shows how many addresses each company contributed.

Named person, role address or personal mailbox

info@, sales@, support@ and the other shared boxes are flagged as role addresses; gmail.com, outlook.com and other consumer domains as personal mailboxes; the rest as named people. Hide either kind with a tick, then copy or download only what is left.

How to extract email addresses from text

Three steps, no account, and the list is yours to take anywhere.

  1. 1

    Paste or choose a file

Select the text on a contact page, a team page, a directory listing or an email thread and paste it. For a whole page, open the page source (View page source in your browser) and paste that. Or choose a .txt, .csv, .html or .eml file; it is read on your device.

  2. 2

Read the list, hide what you do not need

The addresses appear as you paste, each with its type. Hide role addresses if you want people, hide personal mailboxes if you want companies, open By domain to see which companies the text covered.

  3. 3

    Copy or download

Copy the list, or download it as a text file or as a CSV whose first column is email. That CSV is the shape the ReachClaw Leads page import reads; it needs nothing else to import.

What this email extractor can't do

  • Fetch a website for you. A page in your browser cannot read other sites, so there is no URL box. Open the page, copy it or its source, paste it here.
  • Tell you whether an address works. No mail server is asked, no deliverability is scored. A flagged role address is still listed; a mistyped one is listed as typed.
  • Guess an address that is not in the text. It will not build first.last@company.com from a name, and it does not look anyone up. If the address is not on the page, it is not in the list.
  • Log in anywhere. It does not connect to LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook or any other account. Paste what you can see; that is all it reads.

The same rule, done for you, inside ReachClaw

This tool is the by-hand version of what ReachClaw's AI lead search does on pages you have not visited. It builds a customer profile from your website, searches the public web for people at businesses that match, reads the contact pages, team pages, directories and speaker lists it finds, and keeps only the people with a visible email: name, company, role, the address as written and a link to the page. It is told to skip generic info@ or hello@ addresses and find specific people. On the Leads page you press Score leads when you want each one rated 0 to 100, pick a template, and the AI writes one personal email per lead and sends it from your Gmail. Our guide to how automated lead generation works walks through that loop part by part.

One flat price from $6.99 a month: 100 outbound emails a month on Solo, 500 on Growth, no cap on Scale. The AI runs on your own Anthropic API key, which Anthropic bills separately. Lead emails come from public pages and are not verified.

Questions about the email extractor

Is this email extractor free?

Yes, with no signup, up to a million characters of text at a time, as often as you like, and no watermark on the download. The extraction runs in your browser on your own device. Nothing you paste or choose is sent to ReachClaw or stored anywhere, and there is no share link, so the addresses never leave your machine unless you copy them out.

What does it pull out of the text?

Every string shaped like an email address: a local part, an @ sign and a domain whose last label is letters only. It also reads addresses inside mailto: links and addresses written with HTML entities, which is what you get when you paste a page's source. Trailing punctuation is left behind, file names such as logo@2x.png are dropped, duplicates are merged without regard to capitals, and each address is counted.

Can it extract emails from a website if I give it the address?

Not from the URL alone. A page in your browser is not allowed to fetch other websites, so there is no box for a web address. Open the site, select the page or its source, and paste it here; for a long list of pages, paste them one after the other into the same box. Tools that do crawl a site for you run on a server and need an account; this one does not.

Does it handle name [at] domain [dot] com?

Yes, when you tick the box. The bracketed forms, name(at)domain(dot)com and the spoken form "name at domain dot com" are turned back into addresses, and each one found this way is marked decoded so you can check it. The tick is off by default because the spoken form can misfire on ordinary sentences, and "meet me at noon" should never become an address.

Are the extracted emails verified?

No. The list is exactly what appears in your text. Nothing is checked against a mail server, guessed or looked up elsewhere, and a role address such as info@ is only flagged, not removed. ReachClaw itself follows the same rule: the emails its AI lead search saves are the ones visible on the page, saved as found and never verified, and if one bounces, the bounce lands in your Gmail.

What is a role address, and why is it flagged?

A shared mailbox for a department rather than a person: info@, hello@, sales@, support@, press@ and similar. They are flagged, not dropped, because sometimes they are the right door. ReachClaw's lead search is told to skip generic info@ or hello@ emails and find specific people, so if you plan to import the list and email it, hiding role addresses first gives you the same list the AI would have kept.

How do I get the list into ReachClaw?

Download the CSV and import it on the Leads page. The import looks for a column named email, which this file has as its first column, and ignores the other columns; a name, company or role is read only from columns with those names, so add them in a spreadsheet first if you have them. Rows with an address that is not valid or that already exists in your leads are skipped and listed back to you. Imported leads have no score until you press Score leads.

Can I extract emails from LinkedIn, Gmail or Outlook with this?

The tool reads whatever text you paste, so a thread copied out of your mailbox or a page you can see in your browser works; it does not connect to any account or scrape any site for you. Whether you may collect addresses from a particular site is a question for that site's terms, and whether you may email them is a question for the email laws where you and they are. Addresses published for business contact are the safe case.

How does this relate to ReachClaw?

ReachClaw does the finding for you. It builds a customer profile from your website, searches the public web for people at businesses that match, reads the pages it finds and saves each person's name, company, role and the email as it appears on the page, with a link to that page. Only people with a visible email are kept, generic addresses are skipped, nothing is verified. From the Leads page you press Score leads to rate any lead 0 to 100, then pick a template and the AI writes one personal email per lead and sends it from your Gmail. Plans start at $6.99 a month, one flat price, with 100 outbound emails a month on Solo, 500 on Growth and no cap on Scale; the AI runs on your own Anthropic API key.
